Toxicology Scientist Job Description

We are seeking a talented Toxicology Scientist to join our team at Gentronix Ltd. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for conducting preclinical studies, including in vitro assays, to support product development.

About the Role
  • Conducting preclinical toxicology studies with attention to detail, adhering to SOPs and GLP
  • Collaborating closely with the Study Director to ensure efficient study execution, meeting turnaround times and deadlines
  • Contributing to experimental planning, data reporting, and checking, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Safely handling samples such as cells, tissues, or chemicals for testing, ensuring compliance with current SOPs and GLP
  • Maintaining suspension and adherent cell lines, preparing them for testing
About You
  • Experience working in a life sciences laboratory environment and a life sciences degree or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Familiarity with cell culture techniques and good aseptic technique, strong practical skills required
  • Demonstrated understanding of toxicology principles and enthusiasm for applying them in a screening and regulatory setting
  • Prior knowledge of GLP or other laboratory standards is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proactive, able to prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
