Executive Assistant to Director of the Bennett Institute

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to Professor Ben Goldacre, Director of the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science and Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure. They will be responsible for a variety of challenging administrative tasks, including:

  • Managing complex calendars and making travel arrangements
  • Organizing events and conferences
  • Drafting reports and other written materials
  • Providing high-level support to senior members of the Bennett Institute and the wider University community

The successful candidate will have a high standard of numeracy, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work independently in a positive and proactive manner. They will be based at the University of Oxford, but will also have the opportunity to work remotely on a regular basis.

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be committed to equality and valuing diversity.
