Job Title: Financial Accountant

Join Eisai, a leading research-based pharmaceutical organization, as a Financial Accountant in our EMEA Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide high-quality financial services, ensuring efficient, accurate, and effective reporting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions for all legal entities in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial support to financial accountants in the performance of their duties.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA or AAT) or equivalent.
  • Sufficient years of accounting experience to demonstrate proven capability at the contribution level required.
  • Good knowledge of intercompany processes and accounting principles.
  • Firm understanding of financial systems, including SAP.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
