Role Overview

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our engineering workforce adheres to regulatory standards, internal policies, and best practices. As an Energy Compliance Specialist for Gas and Electric Vehicle Systems, you will conduct regular audits of dual fuel engineers and electric vehicle installation teams to ensure compliance, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audit and Compliance: Conduct on-site inspections and reviews of completed work to assess compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  2. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, areas of concern, and recommendations for improvement. Assist in developing action plans to address identified non-compliance or quality issues.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Work closely with dual fuel engineers and EV installation teams to provide feedback and support continuous improvement in work practices. Identify opportunities for training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  4. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all audits are conducted in line with current legislation, industry standards, and company health and safety policies.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Proven experience in an auditing role, preferably within the energy sector.
  2. Strong knowledge of dual fuel systems and electric vehicle installations.
  3. Relevant qualifications in engineering, auditing, or a related field (e.g., City & Guilds, NEBOSH).
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
  5. A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
