Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals with disabilities or health conditions and provide recommendations for benefits eligibility.
About the Role
As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work with customers to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will conduct assessments, gather information, and provide detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions
- Collect and analyze information to determine the impact of the condition on daily life
- Produce detailed reports to support benefit eligibility decisions
Requirements
- Valid HCPC registration number
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
