Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Dedicate Recruitment Ltd is working in partnership with a high-performing multi-academy Trust operating across Leicestershire.

About the Role

The Trust is seeking a driven and proactive Finance Business Partner to support and enhance the Trust finance function and assist trust schools in delivering a first-class financial service to enable pupils and staff to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and stringent financial assistance to support Headteachers on all aspects of financial management.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and school budgets, as well as forecasts for the five-year strategic plan.
  • Conduct regular audits of school financial processes in line with Trust policies and compliance.
  • Offer high-level customer service when dealing with senior leaders and Trust stakeholders.
  • Provide financial coaching and guidance.
Requirements

The successful Finance Business Partner will be educated to A Level or equivalent with a finance-related qualification to NVQ Level 3 or AAT.

They will have a good knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and reporting, and be able to explain complex financial information in simple terms.

This is a customer-facing role, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing positive relationships quickly.

The Finance Business Partner will manage multiple workstreams effectively and within strict timelines.
