We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at King Edward VII's Hospital in London.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitise patient rooms, common areas, and offices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Change linens, towels, and other bedding items as required to provide fresh and comfortable spaces for patients.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste materials safely and regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent any hazards.
  • Follow infection control policies and procedures to reduce the risk of infections and protect everyone in the hospital.
  • Respond to patient and staff requests for additional cleaning services to meet their needs and provide excellent service.
  • Collaborate with team members effectively to achieve seamless and high-quality housekeeping support.

About You:

  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work independently while following set procedures and schedules
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff across departments
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects for extended periods
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)
