Job Opportunity for MEP Project Lead

People Group is seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Lead to join their team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional to work on a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the installation of mechanical and electrical packages.
  • Collaborate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Manage safety and quality aspects of the project in accordance with company procedures.
  • Develop and implement project programmes, including delivery strategies and milestone achievement.
  • Ensure smooth communication between all parties to the contract.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays and issues.
  • Keep project stakeholders informed of progress and any relevant issues.
  • Review project scope and manage budget and schedule.
  • Perform cost analysis as required.
  • Participate in design reviews.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a background in project management or engineering, with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering. You should be digitally astute and able to build lasting client relationships. Detailed knowledge of MEP packages, including installation techniques, best practices, and single system commissioning requirements, is essential. Experience working on healthcare or pharmaceutical projects is desirable, but not essential.
