Main Contractor Seeks Experienced MEP Manager

Falcon Green Personnel is seeking a highly skilled MEP Manager to oversee service installations for residential projects in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large MEP packages and be proficient in Electrical or Mechanical bias.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage service installations in accordance with client specifications and procedures.
  • Effectively manage Services Contractors and Sub-Contractors/Supply Chain Partners.
  • Analyse data to identify critical sequences and resource requirements.
  • Review and report on specifications and design drawings.
  • Develop design proposals and manage Design Team Drawings.
  • Plan and facilitate information flow between Design Team and Services Subcontractors.
  • Attend Client meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Organise and Chair coordination meetings for Services Subcontractors.
  • Plan work and organise plant and site facilities to meet project deadlines.
  • Review Subcontractor submittals and track procurement routes.
  • Inspect, assess, and verify commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Submit Safety File Data for the Client on project completion.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline required.
  • Preferably 3+ years' experience in Building Services Contractor/Consultant offices.
  • Familiar with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler & Process Systems/Construction.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package.
  • Professional with excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness and ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Proven track record in Residential Projects.
  • Willing to contribute and adhere to quality and safety requirements.
  • Membership of professional body (e.g., CIBSE) is beneficial.
