We are a leading technology company based in Bristol or Derby, providing innovative solutions for the rail industry. Our team of experts focuses on developing cutting-edge video technology systems that enhance operational efficiency and safety.

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, specification, test, and build of bespoke systems for the railway environment. These projects may involve integrated technologies such as line scanning cameras, lighting, laser measurement systems, thermal sensors, industrial embedded Linux, IP networking, GPS/4G/5G.

The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of this type of technology and experience in the rail industry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering solutions on new and existing projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, budget, and timelines.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical project risks.
  • Testing and fault finding.

**Requirements and Benefits**

  • 5+ years of experience delivering projects in an industrial environment, preferably rail.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills, including document/specification writing.
  • UK driving license and willingness to drive to various UK site locations.
  • A competitive salary range is estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
