Job Title: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to plan and deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of the CAMHS service and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • AC/S12 status.
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty.
  • Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
