Main Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of operational site security and ensuring the safety of people, assets, and information
  • Leading a small team of security operatives in the delivery of a first-class security service, including conducting and monitoring staff appraisals and encouraging further development
  • Implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and emergency preparedness plans
  • Conducting risk assessments and assisting senior management in threat analysis across the estate
  • Overseeing the operation of security systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Cross-functional working with the Property and Facilities teams to ensure a secure and efficient working environment
  • Developing and implementing security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity

Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role.

Ideal Candidate:

As our ideal Head of Security Operations, you will have:

  • Experience in managing the delivery of operational security and a proven track record of success
  • A passion for service excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality security services
  • Experience in implementing security strategies and policies, including SOPs and emergency preparedness plans
  • Experience in positively engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
  • A full driving license and ability to travel as required

You will be a people manager with experience leading teams of 8+ and ideally hold a SIA license. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
