About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Xealthcare's nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and supervise a team of healthcare assistants, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our residents.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care and prior experience in a care setting or similar role. A compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
