About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemical Plant Operator to join our team at Millbank Holdings Ltd. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex chemical plant processes to meet production targets while ensuring a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure optimal operation of multiple processes to achieve high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) targets.
  2. Perform scheduled maintenance procedures, isolations, and first-line breakdown maintenance to minimize plant downtime.
  3. Maintain a safe working environment that complies with health, safety, and environmental standards, including auditing, corrective actions, reporting, and housekeeping.
  4. Provide analytical support to ensure product quality and standard.
  5. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues and maintain plant operations.
  6. Train colleagues on tasks performed regularly within their job role.
  7. Participate in improvement activities and perform formal shift handovers as required.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds plant operations part I & II (or equivalent).
  • Process Operations NVQ Level 3.
  • Chemical process plant shift work experience.
