Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveying Professional - Contract Management to join our team at Esh Group. This is a key role that requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex projects in the Water Industry.

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of 10 years' experience in a commercial environment, with a degree qualification or equivalent.
  • They will be competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures, with a comprehensive understanding of the Water Industry, including Water Treatment Processes, Water storage and conveyance, MEICA, ICA and SCADA, Environmental impact and implications, and Flood prevention.
  • Experience of working within different contract frameworks, including Frameworks within relevant sector or as specific to project, NEC Target Costs Contracts, Design and Construct Schemes, and Water Industry schemes, is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will also have excellent contracting and commercial skills, as well as experience in use of extranet and electronic project management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise income from works.
  • Recording of information relating to works.
  • Conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent contracting and commercial skills.
  • Experience of working within different contract frameworks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Water Industry.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately.

Salary

  • A competitive salary of £75,000 per annum.
