About the Role

This vacancy presents an exceptional chance for a highly motivated Electronics Validation Specialist to join our team at Redline Group Ltd. As a key member of our Fire & Security prevention applications group, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our consumer electronics products.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake various tasks, including:

  • Validating new products to meet specified requirements;

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate existing designs;

  • Investigating and analysing failure reports, identifying root causes and proposing solutions;

  • Executing comprehensive testing and characterisation of components to guarantee their reliability and performance;

  • Compiling and presenting test results to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for product improvement;

  • Diagnosing product issues, tracing faults to component level, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Prior experience in an electronics or engineering company, preferably with knowledge of testing procedures;

  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to read schematics and diagnose electronic assembly failures;

  • Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing processes, combined with the ability to interpret datasheets and device capabilities;

  • Excellent technical writing skills and working proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;

  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex results to colleagues and superiors.
