Job Summary:

Grandir UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Peterborough. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality and Care: Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring that practice and provision meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Staff Supervision: Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties, deploying staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.
  • Keycarer Procedures: Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately.
  • Communication: Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child, promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers.
  • Relationships: Develop open and positive working relationships with staff, ensuring that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in early years education and childcare.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and carers.
