Construction Management Professional

Quinn London Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Construction Contracts Manager to lead our Properties Services Division.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader, self-motivated and commercially astute construction professional to join our team. You will be responsible for leading multiple teams on internal refurbishment contracts, cyclical & external projects ranging from £1-£10m.
You will have extensive experience of developing positive client working relationships, managing workloads, and prioritizing tasks under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively manage project teams to ensure consistent delivery of all projects. You will also be required to work effectively in a mix between the office and on-site environments.
Key Accountabilities- Ensure Compliance and Quality Standards: Understand, implement, and adhere to HS&E standards, operating processes, company policies, and all legislative requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leadership and Strategy Performance: Lead the delivery team and strategy performance to deliver quality builds, ensuring sustainability objectives are achieved.
- Risk Management and Procurement: Manage performance against targets while identifying and managing any potential risks, ensuring the procurement process is successfully delivered with QLL supply chain delivery of projects.
- Project Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports for monthly project reviews to demonstrate HS&E, quality, process, operational, and commercial performance.
- Management Systems and Tools: Ensure appropriate management systems and tools are used throughout the project team.
- Site Logistics and Progress Monitoring: Prepare site logistics, traffic management plans, and compound arrangements. Liaise with clients, design teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to manage and progress designs.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ensure site teams, sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients are fully updated with progress at all times.
- Programme Management and Delivery: Prepare target programmes for site teams and sub-contractors where applicable, ensuring project delivery meets contract programme expectations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS: M.C.I.O.B /or OND Construction and Civil Engineering or HNC in Building Studies or Degree in Construction Project Management
- CITB SITE MANAGEMENT SAFETY TRAINING SCHEME (SMSTS): CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification is essential for this role.
- CONSTRUCTION SKILLS CERTIFICATION SCHEME (BLACK CARD): Construction Skills Certification Scheme (Black Card) is required for this position.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
