About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our High Dependency Unit (HDU) team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of care to children and young people who require HDU level care.

Main Responsibilities

  • To deliver high standards of care in partnership with children, young people, and families in a safe and professional environment.
  • To be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care to children and young people and their families/carers.
  • To positively contribute to the achievement of local (ward) and Trust wide objectives.
  • To supervise and teach junior staff and students, and to take charge of the ward in the absence of senior colleagues.
  • To adhere to Trust policies and procedures.
