Industrial Equipment Manager

Vantrunk Ltd, a leading provider of engineered cable management products and support systems, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Manager.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of equipment, conducting routine maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and performing statutory checks.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections, identifying potential issues before they become major problems, and develop strategies to prevent them.
- Improve equipment performance by learning and understanding machine processes and operation, optimizing performance and reducing repair costs.
- Control contractors, ensuring safe and compliant work on site, aligning with industry standards and company policies.
- Participate in business-related projects and processes, contributing technical expertise and non-engineering skills, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, acquiring prices, and generating purchase requests, promoting cost-effectiveness and supplier partnerships.
- ONC in Engineering or equivalent qualification, demonstrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Exceptional technical fault-finding skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong ability to work from drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy in maintenance activities.
- Proficient computer skills, facilitating efficient data management and reporting.
- Deep understanding of Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems, enhancing equipment operation and maintenance.
Salary: Competitive (£45,000 - £60,000), DOE + Benefits. The successful candidate will receive a range of benefits, including a pension contribution, annual company performance bonus, and additional on-call and call-out rate.
