We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Portakabin's Bridgewater Hire Centre. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for refurbishing and fitting out Portakabin buildings to the highest standards, specializing in electrical work. You will also be involved in aftersales and rectification work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fault finding and undertake rectifications of existing systems both on and off site.
  • Understand and apply electrical principles and works associated with the design, building, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to maintain a zero-harm environment and culture.
  • Assist in the general fitting out and refurbishment of Portakabin buildings both on and off site where required.
  • Support supplementary process-based tasks where required, including the installation and terminations of building works.
  • Ensure workmanship quality adheres to technical specifications and divisional standards.
  • Apply lean principles and techniques to help and contribute to your team delivering and exceeding KPI targets.
  • Design and install electrical systems incorporating all types of electrical materials, ensuring that all installations meet current regulations.
  • Ensure that all buildings are tested to the required standards, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification where applicable.
  • Assume responsibility as the qualified supervisor and oversee all testing requirements for the Hire Centre.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to maximize their use and prolonged life.
  • Ensure reconditioned fittings and materials are utilized as a priority without compromising quality.
