About the Role

Xealthcare Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a well-respected care provider in Airdrie. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Administer medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
  • No qualifications required, although NVQ level 2 & 3 in health and social care would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
