Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Computational Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for providing computational chemistry expertise to support drug discovery projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing tools and workflows to extract, integrate, analyze, and visualize chemical, biophysical, and ADMET data.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct molecular dynamics simulations using standard software such as OpenMM, AMBER, and/or GROMACS.
- Develop and implement QSAR virtual screening methods, ideally with peptides.
- Write analysis scripts and pipelines in common scripting languages, such as Python, in Jupyter notebooks or as standalone scripts.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of computational chemistry technologies for drug discovery within the company.
- Support and train members of the discovery teams in the use of analysis and visualization tools and other aspects of computational chemistry.
- Industry experience or postdoctoral experience in computational chemistry.
- Practical knowledge of conducting and analyzing molecular dynamics simulations.
- Experience in QSAR virtual screening, ideally with peptides.
- Knowledge of cheminformatics methods and databases.
- Practical knowledge of quantum mechanical calculations.
- Skills in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and advanced data analytics.
