About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Eating Disorder Specialist to join our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with eating disorders, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an autonomous practitioner within the Eating Disorder Service, responsible for a clinical caseload using the Care Programme Approach.
  • Accept and assess patients referred to the service, developing packages of care to meet highly specialised needs.
  • Provide specialist education, supervision, and support to clinical staff in Primary and Secondary Health settings.
  • Participate in the monitoring of standards and outcomes within the Service.
  • Advise Trust clinical staff, Primary care staff, and staff of voluntary agencies on clinical practices for Eating Disorders.
