About the Role:
The Account Manager is a key role within our company, working closely with regional and national chain retailers, as well as large independents. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring store staff are well-trained, engaged, and incentivized to sell and promote our products effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow sales on the territory and maintain the company's competitive advantage in the region.
- Develop strong partnerships with retailers, working with them to develop sales and marketing strategies, including product merchandising, promotions, and advertising planning.
- Regularly visit and manage retailers on the territory, arranging and carrying out product training for retail sales staff.
- Maintain product displays in-store to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Ideal experience in selling retail furniture or a related product to large retailers.
- Experience in training retail staff would be highly desirable.
- Highly motivated, focused, and adaptable.
- Able to demonstrate a first-class retail sales track record.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the department.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Full clean driving license.
