Job Title: Technical Administrator

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our audio production team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide audio support on projects in and out of studio, acting as junior audio engineer when required.
  • Perform high-specification audio editing of dialogue WAV files using tools such as Audition, Pro Tools, and Izotope RX.
  • Ensure quality assurance and delivery of edited files using in-house tools.
  • Organize, log, and distribute batches to editors, collecting them once edited.
  • Prepare scripts and conduct QA process on edited batches where suitable.
  • QA and prepare edited batches for client delivery, and deliver when suitable.
  • Assist Post-Production Team with daily tasks wherever possible.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the audio team.
  • Report issues impacting progress or quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues or report to line managers as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date audio assets and equipment logging.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in software and tools including WAV file editors, Pro Tools, and MS Excel.
  • Strong interest in audio technology.
  • Good troubleshooting skills for technical and IT issues.
  • Able to adapt and learn new skills and software.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and a team player who can work well at all levels.
