Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 per annum + BONUS

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Chelmsford / Wickford (rural location, free parking)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transport / Logistics Planner to join our team in Chelmsford / Wickford. As a key member of our Service Operations group, you will be responsible for planning the pickup, drop-offs, and servicing of hired equipment for a fleet of over 60 vehicles across multiple depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimize transport routes using planning software tools
  • Allocate services, deliveries, and collections to ensure efficient operations
  • Communicate with customer service teams and depot managers to resolve queries
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Transport Planners to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Transport and logistics sector experience preferable
  • IT literate with proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Own transport necessary for this role
