Nursing Department Manager

Job Description:The Austin Fraser Nursing Department Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our ward or department, ensuring that clinical care is delivered to the highest standards. As a leader and manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and supervising nursing staff, ensuring effective teamwork and high morale.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care Delivery: Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring that care is patient-centered, timely, and of the highest quality.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff, ensuring that care standards are met and that clinical procedures are carried out correctly and safely.
- Staff Development: Manage staff rotas, ensure adequate staffing levels, and provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for junior nursing staff.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with medical, allied health, and other support teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
