About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems that meet demanding performance and cost targets
  • Convert creative ideas into hardware that makes a difference at the race track
  • Develop and validate novel engineering design solutions using right-first-time principles and analysis
  • Solve complex problems and analyze failures
  • Write test requests, review results, and write technical reports
  • Build strong inter-departmental working relationships and champion best practices
Requirements
  • 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Experience in 3D CAD design software (preferably NX) and key simulation/analysis packages
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines, their systems, and energy recovery systems
  • Passionate about engineering, creative, innovative, and curious
