About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our Innovative Analytics team within Financial Crime. The successful candidate will play a key role in innovating Economic Crime processes using data, technology, and streamlining methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review eID&V scorecards to ensure effective implementation and integration with other FC controls.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify efficiency and effectiveness use cases and connect them with innovative software.
  • Identify emerging technology solutions to improve functional, reporting, intelligence, and analytics capabilities.
  • Support business case development to drive change alongside governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data quality and governance specialists to maximize internal and external data usage.
  • Monitor innovation areas in the financial services industry for proactive risk identification.

About You

This is a challenging role requiring strong problem-solving skills, SQL, and data analytics expertise.

We seek someone with:

  • Strong analytical skills to handle open-ended business challenges.
  • Working knowledge of financial crimes systems including KYC, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, and Analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial crimes data structures.
  • Proven technical/analytical skills in a relevant role.
  • A questioning mindset to lead activity focused on understanding current activities.
  • Experience standardizing development approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to summarize for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in SAS, SQL, Databricks, Python, Power platform technologies.

Salary Estimate: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
