Kennel Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kennel Supervisor to join our team at Wagtail UK Ltd. As a Kennel Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our kennel facility, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our canine companions.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Husbandry: Clean and maintain kennel facilities, exercise and feed dogs, administer medication, and provide enrichment activities.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train kennel staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional care to our dogs.
- Veterinary Care: Assist with veterinary appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with animal welfare standards.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization within the kennel, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our dogs.
- Experience: Proven experience in a kennel environment, managing staff, and caring for a variety of breeds.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for animal welfare.
- Certifications: Animal care certificate (desirable), DIY skills (essential), and a driving license.
- Salary: £30,043.00 - £32,839.00 per annum (following a 12-month probation period).
- Accommodation: Fully expensed accommodation in France when on shift.
- Travel Allowance: Monthly travel allowance to aid with costs of travel across the Channel.
