Personal Assistant for a Teenage Boy in Leeds

We are seeking a fun-loving and flexible Personal Assistant to support a 19-year-old young man with Autism in accessing the community, leisure activities, cooking, and independence skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of autistic spectrum disorders and a full UK driving license with their own personal car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation and Domestic Care
  • Social and Leisure Activities
  • Support to Remain Independent

Training and Development:

  • Autism and Aspergers Training

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Own personal car
  • Experience of autistic spectrum disorders (advantageous)

Working Hours:

  • 3 hours per week weekday nights and 5 hours at the weekend, term time
  • 15 hours weekdays and 5 hours at the weekend during school holidays

Rate of Pay:

  • £12.40 per hour weekdays
  • £15.44 per hour weekend (gross)
