School Food Service Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at Whaley Thorns Primary in Derbyshire.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, ensuring that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are met.
You will be responsible for supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service, including food preparation, cooking, portion control, and allergen compliance. The successful candidate will also be required to complete the NVQ food hygiene certificate upon appointment.
As a valued member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality meals to our students, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
A competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience. Successful candidates will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures, with a focus on customer satisfaction and excellence in food provision.
