Senior Field Specialist

Spherical Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Pharmaceutical Development department, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative aerosol-based delivery technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute exploratory product development programs in the field of aerosol formulation, with a focus on peptides and proteins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prepare new proposals of work, leveraging your expertise in aerosol formulation and delivery technologies.
  • Support the Pharmaceutical Development teams in the development of revenue-generating portfolios of work, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
  • Participate in scientific discussions with customers, academic, and regulatory agency collaborations, leveraging your expertise to drive project progress.
  • Conduct and govern novel research and development in the field of aerosol-based delivery technologies, including the development of new inventions and intellectual property.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant discipline, preferably with a focus on aerosol formulation and delivery technologies.
  • Extensive experience in formulation development in the drug delivery field, particularly in peptides and/or proteins.
  • Proven track record of working in an advanced development function within the pharmaceutical industry, leading exploratory product development programs.
  • Ability to present at scientific meetings, webinars, and conferences, and to work independently and in a team environment.
