About the Role

Your new company is a leading Lloyd's Insurer that prides itself on innovation and client-centricity. As an International Property Binder Underwriter, you will be part of their expanding International Delegated Authority Property team, focusing on US markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite new and renewal property binders, exercising sound judgment in all underwriting matters.
  • Manage property binders effectively, including performance monitoring, EPI tracking, referrals, bordereaux management, rate movement, claims trends, regular reviews, underwriter visits, and audits.
  • Develop a strong understanding of US DA markets and complex underwriting risks.
  • Maintain proven market knowledge and strong client/Broker relationships.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of International Commercial property business, including liability associated with commercial property business.
  • Experience in International Homeowners and High Value Home business, Lloyd's insurance market, Underwriting Principles, and Legal Principles.
