Ambassador Theatre Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wardrobe Assistant to join our team for the London production of MEAN GIRLS.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role on a large-scale production
  • Excellent hand and machine sewing skills, with the ability to learn and perform dressing cues
  • Strong laundry skills, including ironing, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good computer skills, with experience using Word and Excel
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Wardrobe Supervisor with the maintenance and upkeep of costumes and wardrobe
  • Coordinating and managing the laundry and ironing process
  • Assisting with dressing cues and ensuring that costumes are ready for each performance
  • Providing excellent customer service to cast and crew members
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure the smooth running of the show

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role on a large-scale production
  • Excellent hand and machine sewing skills
  • Strong laundry skills, including ironing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good computer skills, with experience using Word and Excel
