Job Title: Dispatch Manager

Our company, VickerStock, is seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee the daily activities of our outward-bound products. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and success in managing a warehousing facility, along with extensive knowledge of order fulfillment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including Performance Development Plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  2. Management of staffing levels in line with budgetary and demand requirements.
  3. Develop operational systems, implement continuous improvement, and upskill the team to improve productivity across order fulfillment activities.
  4. Oversee the delivery of products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  5. Achieve order fulfillment metrics, including delivery in full and on time.
  6. Manage stock inventory levels and implement appropriate replenishment strategies.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including operations, suppliers, carriers, customers, and sales teams.
  8. Pro-actively manage health and safety standards in line with company policy and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years proven success in warehousing and order fulfillment or similar logistics/warehousing setting.
  • Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Operations/Warehouse Management or related field.
  • Understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT Skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
