Hardware Design and Verification Engineer
Project Recruit is seeking a skilled Hardware Design and Verification Engineer to join our team in a 6-month temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital circuits, making informed design decisions and debugging as needed.
- Design and implement SMPS, LDO regulators for onboard power supplies and power budgeting.
- Write test scripts for test data collection in various environments, including MATLAB.
- Conduct Ethernet and ARINC429 bus testing.
- Analyze oscillators, clock surveys, and test data validation.
- Generate test reports and provide technical documentation.
Key Requirements
Essential
- Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design, making design decisions, and debugging.
- Excellent understanding of electronic elements, including data converters, signal conditioning, operational amplifiers, and power-supply topologies.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuit design concepts using discrete electronic components, such as BJTs, FETs, and Diodes.
- Aerospace electronic circuit design experience.
- Processor-based design experience with interfaces like DDR3, NVSRAM, UARTs, RS422, and I2C.
- Experience in integration and testing.
- Design of SMPS, LDO regulators for onboard power supplies and power budgeting.
- ADC concepts, analog design interfacing sensors, and monitoring.
- MIL-STD-1553B bus-based designs.
- Writing test scripts for test data collection in different environments, like MATLAB.
- Testing concepts with test-rigs, simulations, data collections, and unit-level testing.
Desirable
- Component stress analysis and FMEA analysis.
- DO-160 knowledge in aerospace standards.
- Skills to provide solutions for design issues (engineering change request).
- Skills to write engineering justification reports and test plans for design/parametric acceptance.
