Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Needs Secondary School in Luton.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning needs of students with a range of special needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe learning Difficulties (SLD), and pupils with ASD and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with communication and interaction difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and other challenges affecting their learning and confidence.
  • Assist in designated curriculum areas and other requested areas to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying range of abilities and complexities presented by students across different areas of the curriculum.
  • Offer support to pupils with medical conditions or physical limitations.
