Job Title: Accounts and Financial Assistant

Location: Remote

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 dependent upon experience

Term: Permanent, Full Time

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts and Financial Assistant to join our dynamic team at RecruitAbility Ltd. As an Accounts and Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sage Processing: Manage and process all sales and purchase ledger transactions through Sage.
  • Bank Transactions: Handle posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
  • Stock Control: Transfer data from Linnworks to Sage (no prior Linnworks experience required).
  • Transaction Management: Oversee numerous mini transactions for various companies within our group.
  • Expense Management: Run expenses for the field sales team and manage credit card reconciliations.
  • Currency: You will be working in a multi-currency environment but no previous experience is required as full training is given.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, particularly in V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Sage experience
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data inputting and reconciliations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work on varied tasks including inter-company accounts and internal management.
  • Team Player: Someone who throws themselves into their work, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and can keep things running smoothly in the absence of key team members.
  • Retail Accounting: Ideal candidates will have a background in retail accounting, especially with third-party sellers like Amazon and eBay.
  • Qualifications: AAT level 3 and above would be ideal but not essential
  • Discretion: You must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
  • Driving: Due to the remote nature of our work, it is essential that you drive and have your own car.
