Job Summary: As the in-house Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for translating business cases into contracts, liaising with senior management, and advising on commercial contracts. You will work closely with our finance and procurement teams to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to the business on commercial contracts, including tenders, offers, and negotiations.
- Advise senior management on contract content and risks.
- Maintain, draft, and review all live commercial contracts.
- Create template contracts where appropriate.
- Provide hands-on legal advice on business-specific matters.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and contract management teams to achieve the best results.
- Promote cross-functional and international collaboration.
- Inform and assist sales and project teams on risk, opportunities, and points of attention.
- Formalize amendments and changes to contracts.
- Prepare files and draft letters for disputes escalated to legal action.
- Supervise key sales and commercial terms.
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiations.
- PLC Compliance knowledge, including MAR and website disclosures.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Commercially minded and robust.
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexible and result-oriented approach.
- Ability to influence others and take responsibility for projects.
- Team player with excellent command of English.
- Ability to travel internationally if required.
