Job Opportunity:

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a seasoned Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children's residential service. The successful candidate will oversee a team of carers, ensuring the highest standards of care for the children in their charge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 12 people, providing a stable and secure environment for vulnerable children.
  • Lead, motivate, supervise, coach, develop, and support staff to achieve a high standard of care.
  • Identify individual training and development needs, undertake staff appraisals, and ensure training plans are monitored and met.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young People's workforce.
  • At least 2 years' experience in relevant residential child care within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year's experience supervising and managing a staff team.
  • Willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.
