Job Description

Role Overview

The Payroll Services Advisor will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll-related queries and requests. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processing, UK legislation, and customer service principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for payroll, HR administration, and associated queries and requests
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication channels, including telephone and email
  • Participate in payroll processing and quality checks
  • Escalate complex queries and requests to senior team members
  • Support team members in delivering high-quality customer service
  • Monitor and report on service levels, trends, and discrepancies
  • Produce reports and statistical information as required

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and UK legislation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of ITrent or other payroll ERP systems
