Financial Operations Manager

The Financial Operations Manager will report to the Business Rates Support & Development Manager and work within a small Systems Team providing technical support to colleagues across the Revenues and Benefits service.
This is an initial 3 months contract, paying around £350/day (Inside IR35) and is hybrid. The ideal candidate should have experience in working within a Revenues and Benefits environment using both the Capita One Revenues and Benefits system and Enterprise.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of all legislation relevant to the accurate administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax and Business Rates.
- Excellent knowledge of Housing Benefit subsidy.
The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the team to ensure all staff carry out their duties and responsibilities as defined by their job description.

- Update the Business Rates Support & Development Manager on all system related issues pertaining to Housing Benefit, Council Tax, and Business Rates performance on a regular basis.
