Role Summary


The Chief Financial Controller role at Babcock International Group plays a pivotal part in the Police Education Qualifications Framework (PEQF) contract


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the Police Education Qualifications Framework (PEQF) contract Finance Managers
  • Develop and maintain financial planning and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with the Land Sector Shared Service team (SSC), FBS, Operations and Senior Management teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager when required
  • Identify and implement financial process improvements

Requirements



  • Extensive experience in financial management and control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial planning and reporting processes
  • Experience with Finance IT applications (e.g. SAP, NAV)
  • Recognised accounting professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS)
