Inpatient Dispensary Support Role - Enhance Your Skills

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team in Surrey on a locum basis. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in an inpatient dispensary environment, work collaboratively with a dynamic team, and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Job
  • Provide inpatient dispensary support within the hospital setting, ensuring the safe and efficient management of pharmaceuticals.
  • Assist in managing the storage, stock, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to enhance patient care, providing expert advice and guidance as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospital team to achieve high standards of patient care and service delivery.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and systems
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
What We Offer
