Visiting Project Manager - Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Visiting Project Manager to join our client, a leading main contractor specialising in cut and carve, new build, and fit-out projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 3-4 live construction projects nationally, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health and safety compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with Blue Chip clients, attend project meetings, and provide clear project updates.
  • Resolve on-site issues and make key decisions to keep projects on track.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in construction, working with a main contractor.
  • Strong experience in managing fit-out projects.
  • Solid knowledge of UK building regulations, materials, and construction methods.
  • SMSTS qualification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • A full UK Driving license due to the extent of weekly travel.
