Job Title: Electrification and Safety Specialist

Company Overview:
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrification and Safety Specialist to join our client's team in Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in health, safety, quality and environment management to work on electrification projects in the rail industry.

Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 per annum dependant on experience plus benefits.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting health, safety, quality and environment leadership, complying with company procedures, developing an understanding of safety and environmental risks, identifying and implementing quality and efficiency improvement initiatives, preparing and ensuring compliance with policies and strategies, and liaising with clients and supply chain partners. Key skills and qualifications include a NEBOSH certificate, experience in HSQE and operational safety issues on major programmes of work in the construction and/or rail industries, and possession of detailed knowledge of safety and operational issues. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of the UK and European legislative framework and requirements, valid PTS, at least 5 years' rail experience, and computer literacy.
