Consultant Radiologist with Expertise in Breast Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, with a focus on breast imaging and associated interventions.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver a broad range of radiology services, including breast ultrasound, mammography, and CT/US
- Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and other staff members
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
- Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Teach and develop clinical skills in radiology
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
- College Membership (FRCR) or equivalent qualification
- Broad range of experience in General Radiology, including breast imaging and interventions
- Ability to offer and be accountable for full and independent expert diagnostic opinion
- Experience of supervising undergraduates, doctors in training, and other colleagues
