About the Role:

The Technical Support Specialist for Audio Visual Equipment will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and technical support of audio visual equipment across the University. This will include providing guidance and training to staff, students, and external users in the use of audio visual equipment and related applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, check, and repair audio visual equipment throughout the University.
  • Provide technical support for users of audio visual equipment and related applications.
  • Train staff, students, and external users in the use of audio visual equipment and related applications.

Person Specification:

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent with a good range of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good level of analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
  • A wide range of technical skills to meet the requirements of the University technology, users, and customers.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in tasks requiring customer contact would be advantageous.

Working Environment:

This role is based at the City, University of London and will require regular travel across the University campus to perform maintenance and repairs.
